Infratel's line of Cell Sites-on-Wheels (COWs) was developed in conjunction with major U.S. wireless carriers to offer swift deployment and dependable field service. When immediate cell site capacity is needed, whether it is for broadband connectivity at special events, or a temporary cell site needs to be deployed due to construction or emergency situations, these mobile cell site systems are designed to meet the task.

The integrated and fully-equipped Infratel's COWs are designed by engineers and product managers who have extensive field experience at major network operators. They work in the real world because they were designed by professionals with real world experience. Our COWs include a variety of choices for masts: pneumatic, hydraulic, and manual; various trailer and enclosure options; telecom-grade equipment; and multiple power options.

Infratel COWs are available in a wide selection of sizes and capacities to meet multiple requirements. The basic system customized design options to meet your individual and specific requirements. Our design staff will work with you to better understand your needs so that we can offer you the best solution. Our COWs are integrated by experts to insure our products work well for our customers the first time. Infratel's COWs can work with all communication technologies. Our customers’ Field personnel especially appreciate our products since our designs incorporate many details that facilitate deployments.

Standard Mobile Platforms

Infratel's standard designs include platforms that can be customized to meet your particular requirements and needs. However, if your COW, COLT or TOW requires extensive customization or a new design altogether, Maverick will work with you to fabricate a solution to meet your specific needs.

Macro Platforms - For deployments where serious throughput is needed. When equipped with Maverick masts, each can lift a massive 1200 lbs.

• Saturn Series - Infratel’s Saturn COW is rugged, long-lasting and protective of the telecom equipment; jacks and outriggers insure stability when deployed; the roomy crow’s nest and the work lights enhance a crew’s ability to complete the work both quickly and safely; the retractable towing tongues enable the Saturn to be positioned quickly; a massive steel hydraulic mast can list up to 1 metric ton.
• Titan Series - This is the most complete COW in the industry and it eliminates the need for other auxiliary vehicles for the deployment; the Drop-Deck, fifth wheel design provides the most stable platform in the industry; the Titan has ample room to store all of the equipment, cables, tools and materials needed for a deployment; the crow’s nest is free of obstruction; tandem axles, dual wheels and the use of a tractor for towing provides safety and stability.
• Hercules Series - This is a trailer with a horizontal mast featuring our highest lift height, which pivots into a vertical position when deployed. It can be used as a Tower-on-Wheels (TOW); Hercules is typically used with outdoor equipment, but it can also be designed to accommodate an enclosure for indoor equipment.

Small Footprint Platforms - Small COWs designed for restricted footprint needs. They are cost-effective solutions that often meet or exceed the benefits of larger more expensive macro products.

• Mercury Series - Microcabinets are single bay designs perfect for indoor or limited outdoor applications (e.g.Wi-Fi or 3G). Minicabinets are two (2) bay platforms (Wi-Fi, 3G or LTE) designed to provide spot coverage and to fit through standard door openings, elevators and rooftops.

Cell Site-on-Light Truck (COLT)

• Pegasus Series - The most powerful, yet compact mini-COLT there is! The Pegasus is a full macro Site that fits into a standard parking space. The Pegasus is agile and easy to maneuver in metro areas. The cab-over design has a short wheel base allowing for tight turns when needed. (See “In Stock and Ready for Delivery”).

Rental COWs

Infratel now offers rental COWs. These are ideal for long term deployments during site builds, in order to get capacity up and running during the cell site construction process. They are also suited for short-term situations where the demand for mobile cellular connectivity is greater than is currently provided. Contact “COW Services” below.
